It’s always a fun time when I go to the beach with Wilhelmina but it’s an even better time when we can find dogs to play with together!
I’ll admit…sometimes I can get a little jealous when Wilhelmina plays with another dog…but when there’s enough dogs around I loosen up and play with everyone.
Mia: Look Wilhelmina! A couple of Huskies! Let’s so go see if they want to play!
Wilhelmina: Yup! I think they do! The chase is on!
These huskies are fast!
We each had a husky to play with! We had a great time!
Happy Friday Friends! Have a great weekend!

With the hot weather here in Vancouver, I thought I would throw it back to my first winter last year! You know…just to cool things down a bit! 😉 We had an unusually long winter, and it typically doesn’t snow as much as it did! We still had snow in April! It was crazy!
My humom remembers the first time I actually saw snow outside and took a video. If you listen closely, I actually growled at it! BOL! I apologize for the shaky camera, my humom needs to work on her video filming skills!
Once I found out how tasty snow was, I realized it wasn’t that bad! It was actually quite a lot of fun!!!
Of course, any snowy adventure wouldn’t be an adventure without my bestie Wilhelmina!
Oops! I can’t forget Duffy!
Naturally, our humoms always find opportunities to dress us up. We’re always the best dressed of the forest!
Mia: Ummm…Wilhelmina? Weren’t you wearing a jacket when we first started our trail walk? Where did it go??
Wilhelmina: Meh…I feel more free this way! You should try Mia!
Mia: Hmmm…I’m not as free spirited as you Wilhelmina! How about this?…
Wilhelmina didn’t look impressed…
Mia: How about climbing this big rock?? Is this impressive?
Do you guys miss the snow?
Have a great day everyone! Thanks for visiting!

Sun’s out Tongue’s Out! This was a couple of weeks ago on Canada Day! It was the perfect breezy summer’s day!
Duffy’s got a long tongue for such a little guy!
Me and my bestie Wilhelmina! Aren’t her red bows so pretty?
Have a happy Tuesday friends! Thanks for dropping by!

Hello friends…*sad face*…I am having a not so fun weekend…during one of our trail runs I somehow managed to chip part of my toe nail!
How did it happen? Well, I like to play a game with my humom called “Find the Stump” where I will look for a stump, jump on top of it and I get a treat! I play this game with Wilhelmina too, it’s her humom that told us about this game!
Mia: Where’s my treat?!?!
Well, if you ever meet me, you will see that I love food, and I will do almost anything for food! There was this really tall stump that I usually have NO PROBLEMS climbing but this one time for some reason I got stuck half way. I tried my HARDEST TO HOLD ON (because I really wanted the treat) but alas…I couldn’t pull myself up to the top and I fell awkwardly. My toe nail must have somehow caught onto the wood and it ripped a little.
I didn’t show any signs of pain or discomfort until that night when I was on the bed ready for sleepytime. At first my humom thought I pulled a muscle (again). *side note: I pulled a leg muscle a couple of weeks ago from running too hard on the beach with Auntie*
I was being very needy and asking for lots of attention all afternoon and night.
Mia: Mom, stop playing on your iPad and cuddle with me
When my humom looked closer, it was indeed my nail that was damaged.
We went to see the vet right away. My humom was expecting the worse but fortunately the vet said the damage wasn’t too bad! She just clipped the hanging nail part off and then cleaned my foot.
Hooray! No sedation! My humom has to soak my foot in a pink solution 2-3 times a day for 5-10 minutes for the next few days. My humom is not looking forward to it because she knows I won’t make it easy for her. Boy does she know me well! BOL!
Lucky for her I love my food and I can be easily bribed.
My humom was hoping she could clean it for longer than 5 mins but hello???? Does she not realize that 5 mins really feels like 5 YEARS in dog life????
The vet also said no beach or trails for 5 days!!! Is she crazy???
So now my humom has to get creative and find ways to keep me busy indoors. Good luck with that! BOL!
One of my favorite toys is my Kong Wobbler. But it doesn’t keep me occupied for very long because I can get those treats out pretty easily with my special whacking skills!
I recently got a new treat toy, I don’t know what it’s called but it’s pretty tricky! I think my humom got it on purpose because she thought it would be a hard challenge for me.
I kept trying and trying…
Mia: Um….excuse me, a little space here? I need to get this treat out!
But eventually I GOT IT!!!!!!! TAH DAH!!!!! My humom isn’t very impressed with this toy. She was told I would be occupied for HOURS! Well humans, you have underestimated me! BOL!
Mia: So…What’s next Mom??
What kinds of activities do you do indoors to burn off energy? Share it in the comments!

It’s always a fun time at the beach, especially when I go with my bestie Wilhelmina. But this time it was extra special because with met another dog that I follow on Instagram! Her name is Pyper and it was her humans that recognized me because they follow my instagram too!
We look like we could be sisters!
My humom tried to get a group shot of us but it was mission possible. C’mon, what do you expect?? We’re at the beach…with new friends..and you want us to stay still? Human, please….
What’s that over there?
They want us to look at the camera…pfft. Silly humans.
Sniff sniff…your ear smells nice!
Enough of this photo taking! Lets have some fun!
