Happy Wednesday everyone!
Hi Guys!! Guess what?? IT’S MY BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!!
I turn two years old! My humom can’t believe I’m already two. She still calls me her baby (and says I still act like one sometimes…hmph!) She still misses my puppy days because I was so cute and tiny and much easier to handle. BOL!
I always celebrate my birthday with my BFF Wilhelmina because her birthday is only a couple of weeks before mine! If you missed her birthday post, you can click here!
My humom was being
a big pain in the butt persistent about getting a photo of me and Wilhelmina with our birthday cake. I couldn’t understand why until I heard her tell Wilhelmina’s humom that she wanted to recreate the same photo every year so they could look back and compare all the years. Sheesh! Who cares! Just give us the cake!
This is what we looked like on our first birthday!
Look how much smaller we were! Wilhelmina definitely grew a lot! We were small enough that we could fit in the photo without my humom standing on a stool. But this year she had to get a small stool and stand higher to fit us in the picture because Wilhelmina is so tall!
My second year has been quite eventful!
I moved into a new place with my humom and furbrother Keiko…
…I made a bunch of new friends!…
…and of course I couldn’t forget about my new blogging friends!…
…I went to my first fundraiser event!…
…I went on some FANTASTIC adventures with my pals!…
…I saw my first jelly fish!…
…got my first backpack!…
…Sadly, we had to say good bye to Keiko…(my humom isn’t ready to talk about it yet)…Keiko I miss you, even though we never played together I still miss your presence. You were an amazing big brother, thank you for being so patient with me and putting up with me. ❤
…but I got a new
annoying fursibling…(now I know how Keiko felt! BOL!)
And now I have to share a lot of things with her…like my birthday treats!
My joint birthday party with Wilhelmina is this weekend but my humom wanted to me to have some treats to eat on my actual birthday so she got me these!
My humom tried to get a group photo with us and the treats but Nymeria wasn’t being very cooperative so she gave up and just let us choose one.
My humom was also making some dog treats for
me us so she let us lick the spoon!! Yummmm! peanut butter!
Nymeria: What’s peanut butter? I don’t think I’ve ever had that before…
Mia: Try it! It’s AMAZING!!!!!
Nymeria: Hmmm! You’re right! This stuff is delicious!
Man..I’m beat…Who knew that eating treats, doing tricks and licking a peanut butter spoon would be so tiring!
It’s another installment of Tongue Out Tuesday and—
Nymeria: Hey wait for me! I want to be part of Tongue Out Tuesday!
Mia: Sigh….well hurry up!! Geez, why do little sisters always have to be part of EVERYTHING you do….
Nymeria: Okay, I’m coming! I’m coming!
ANYhoo, as I was saying…it’s another installment of Tongue Out Tuesday on this cloudy day, but that doesn’t stop us from having fun!
My humom says that this is probably one of her favorite TOTs because I have a goofy derpy face and my ears are flopping everywhere. What do you think??
Have a happy Tuesday! Keep those tongues hanging out!
The sun decided to come out for us on our walk with Wilhelmina, Avalon and Duffy today! At first we didn’t know if it was going to rain so the humoms made us wear all our rain gear.
But as soon as the sun came through the clouds, off came the jackets! Of course this meant more photo taking. Sigh….Can we ever just go out for a walk without a photoshoot???
In their defense, the humoms said they just wanted to show off all our beautiful colors and markings. Well in that case…okay FINE…but just a few! Then we’re off to play!
Hope you guys had a good weekend!
We’ve been lucky here in Vancouver where even though the temperatures have dropped a bit, we haven’t gotten any snow that has stuck to the ground and caused chaos in the city. (Vancouverites are wimps when it comes to snow compared to our East Coast friends).
Nymeria got to meet my buddy Bruno for the first time. She didn’t get to run and play with us though. My humom says it’s still too soon to let her run loose in the woods, she might not come back!
The other black dog you see in the photos is Todd, he’s Bruno’s friend. The humoms couldn’t get all of us to sit still for a photo so all they got were black blurs. BOL!
Hope this sunny dry weather lasts a little bit longer before the dark cold winter days come!
TGIF!! Happy Friday Furiends!
The first Monday Mischief post on this blog! Waitaminute…what is this I hear?…My fursister Nymeria already did a Monday Mischief post?? WITHOUT MY CONSENT??? On MY blog??? How dare she??? Add that to the list of on my Roommate Nightmare post!
Mia: What’s this I hear you did a Monday Mischief post on my blog??
Nymeria: Hey you were sleeping! You snooze you lose!
Anyhoo…I guess I can’t stay TOO mad because we all had a pretty fun time together and I got to roll in some pretty awesome stuff!! (And by awesome I mean REALLY STINKY heehee).
My humom was NOT impressed, especially because I was wearing her favorite collar. It’s my Autumn chipmunk collar.
I was showing Nymeria the best spots on the jetty to roll in but she wasn’t fast enough and our humom caught her right in time. Pfft. Amateur. Every time my humom tried to catch me, I already left the scene!
Mia: Hmm…I wonder what other smelly things I can roll in…
Duffy: Is that what I smell?? It’s coming from you??? Wait..can you show me where?…I want some of that action!
Wilhelmina: MmMmm! Mia you smell wonderful!
I also got Wilhelmina into some mischief too. There’s no photos of the evidence since we ate it all but the humoms were very upset. I threw it up later on the jetty, my humom won’t let me post any pictures of it.
Nymeria: Hey Wilhelmina! What was that thing you and Mia were eating back there?
Wilhelmina: Hmmm…I can still taste it in my mouth…it was so good!
Nymeria: Show me where! Is there any more back there?
Mia: SHHH!! Don’t tell her anything Wilhelmina! Cuz then we’ll have to share!
Mia: Hey Avalon! There you are! Where did you go?
Avalon: I was just rolling in some stuff and I found something to eat too!
Mia: Nice work!
As punishment for all the mischief we did today they made us sit still for a BAJILLION group photos. *YAWN*.
And if that wasn’t enough, we were tortured again with BATHS!!!!!
I refused to put any of the humiliating bath photos up, even though my humom REALLY wanted to share.
By the end of it all, we were exhausted. So exhausted that I didn’t even care that I shared the couch with Nymeria.
Did you guys get into any mischief today?
miserable fun time of year again when my humom dresses me up in costume. At least this time I got to share my misery with my new fursister Nymeria.
Mia: You could have at least straightened out my wings before taking the picture…oh the humiliation!
Nymeria: Quit your complaining! I’ve only been in the country for 4 days and I’m already wearing these weird things on my head!
My humom was hoping to get some spooky looking halloween photos in the forest but…it didn’t really turn out that way…
…so instead…we present to you..Howl-O-Ween bloopers!! Bruno came with us to join in on the
torture fun too!
Nymeria: I don’t want to take pictures!
Mia: Just sit still! You think we want to do this??
Bruno: I can’t see anything…what’s going on? Are we done yet?
Mia: Arg! Nymeria you blinked!
Nymeria: Hey! What do you expect?? I’ve never taken photos before! Sheesh!
Bruno: Sorry guys…I have a wardrobe malfunction over here…
Mia: Well hurry up and fix it so we can get out of these costumes and back to playing! We’re being tortured over here!
Mia: Important tip for you Nymeria…If we keep looking away from the camera, the humoms will eventually give up and we’ll be free!
Nymeria: Like this? How about if I start walking away? Does that work??
Mia: Yah! Exactly! Good work! Looks like they’ve given up!!! YAY!
In the end, we managed to get one decent photo. My humom still wasn’t happy though because the photo is slightly blurry and she didn’t like the way I was sitting. Because of the angle and the sun reflection, you couldn’t see my bat wings. SHEESH! Humans are never satisfied are they???
Happy Howl-O-Ween furiends!!! Did you guys get lots of treats? Do any cool tricks? Endure torturous photo shoots wearing ridiculous costumes? Share it in the comments!
Yesterday my humom had some friend’s over a cookie party. My humom used to have a small side business where she made custom human cookies for parties and such. She had to stop because of the stress and long hours but decided she could teach cookie decorating classes instead!
These are some of last year’s Christmas cookie designs.
She always holds a couple of classes in December since her Christmas cookies are the most popular. Usually Howl-o-Ween classes aren’t as popular so she never hosted one. This year however, she was trying to fundraise to Bring Linda Home so she asked her friends if they would like to sign up, and for a good cause!
My humom spent the last couple of nights baking up a storm! I wasn’t lucky enough for her to drop any on the floor 😦
These were some of her designs this year.
Her good friend Auntie Sandra (Bruno’s humom) helped round up some friends and they all came over yesterday!
I was so excited to see all these new humans, they were all so nice and gave me lots of pets. They gave my furbrother Keiko lots of pets too. My humom was too busy making stuff for the class she didn’t take enough pictures! Hmph!
This little human is Eileen! You might have seen her in some of my past posts when I’m in the forest with Bruno! Isn’t she adorable??
She’s lucky she’s that adorable because if it were any other little human I’m not sure I would be willing to share my favorite spot on the couch or even my bed!
Mia: Mom….She’s in my favorite spot! Do I have to share?
Mia: Yeah…I guess you’re pretty darned cute. I guess you can have my spot for now!
I even shared
my bed my humom’s bed when she got her die-pee changed AND when she took her nap! I really wanted to take a nap on the bed too but I knew it was more important for Eileen to get her sleep. My humom was very proud of me and said I was a very good girl.
Mia: I guess I’ll just lie here for now
Everyone was pretty focused on their cookie decorating. They were decorating for 6 straight hours! WOW!
These are some of their masterpieces!
With all the excitement of all these new visitors, I was ready to pass out when the last guest left! I could barely stay away to write this post!
Mia: Mom, I’ll dictate you type!
Good night Furiends! Hope you had a great weekend! What did you guys get up to?
