Hi Guys! Nymeria here! Mia FINALLY let me take over the blog today since today’s post doesn’t really involve her much. She was too busy HIDING from a tiny little puppy named–
Mia: Excuse me?? How dare you say that?? I wasn’t hiding…I was getting out of your way since you two were running around everywhere!
Well it’s my blog post today so I’m going to say you were HIDING! HA! Anyway, before I was RUDELY interrupted…I was going to say..the puppy’s name is Radar!
He’s a 4 month old French Bulldog and boy does he have a lot of energy! This chubby little nugget was non-stop!
My humom tried really hard to get some good photos but all she got were white blurs! BOL!
We had so much fun playing together, both my humom and Radar’s humom were really surprised! (Because of our size difference) But my humom was really proud of me because I was really gentle with him.
He settled into our place quite quickly! The first thing he did when he came in was grab a bone and went on the bed to chew on it! What a character!
He also helped himself to our toy bin!
But I didn’t mind, I was good at sharing my toys. Well…maybe not my favorite ones…but I let him have my snake rope. (Actually it used to be Mia’s but she doesn’t play with it anymore).
My humom started to miss Mia’s puppy days until Radar had an accident on the rug…and then in the bedroom (that one was a STINKY ONE!)..and then another accident under the dining table…in the hallway….where did this guy hold all his pee??? Even though she had placed a pee pad on the floor…he never used it. BOL!
Mia never really warmed up to him by the time Radar’s humom came to pick him up, but I sure hope he come back!
Hope you guys had a great weekend!
Happy Friday Everyone!
How was everyone’s week? Are you glad it’s finally the weekend?
This week’s forest fun is brought to you by myself, Nymeria, Bruno and Pyper! You might have seen Pyper in a couple of my posts, we ran into each other at lowtide last summer and I also featured her on my National Black Dog day post!
Pyper’s humom saw how much fun I was having in the forest from my Instagram page so she asked to join us the next time we were going! The more the merrier!!
It was a dark and very wet dreary day but the great company sure made up for it! We had a lot of fun running around, sniffing things and getting lots of treats!
My humom kept telling me to stop showing off to Pyper’s humom. What??? How dare you Mom! I like jumping on stumps! I do it for the treats!!! (Okay MAYBE I like the attention too..heehee)
Of course, the humoms all wanted at least one nice group shot of us but it was proving to be very difficult because Nymeria refused to cooperate! In her defense, she had never met Pyper’s humom and Bruno’s humom only a handful of times…so that kind of made her a little nervous.
This was the best we could get BOL!
Nymeria: Uh…Excuse me?? I was not nervous…I was letting you guys have the limelight because if I showed up I would have stolen the show…I mean…look how majestic I look on this rock!
Mia: Uh..yea sure Nymeria. Whatever you say *rolleyes*
There were a couple of women that were watching us get our photos taken and one of them commented on how similar Pyper and I look! She asked if we were siblings!
On our way back my humom suggested that Bruno’s humom try and give Nymeria a treat. Last time she was too shy to take it, but this time my humom was prepared!…She brought little bits of pepperoni (for dogs)!!!
By the way, these AMAZINGGGGG photos were taken by Pyper’s humom. She brought a really fancy camera and snapped a bunch of great shots. My humom was sad that her camera phone died really early into our walk but was so very happy that Pyper’s humom was taking so many photos of everyone!
Well that’s all I got for today! Have a great weekend everyone!
Pee S. If you noticed that I was the only one that didn’t have a jacket on…I did at the start of the walk but after running around through the forest it fell off!! Luckily I knew where it fell and I led my mom to it and she decided to let me run nakie! Weee!
It’s another Monday and that means another installment of Mischief Monday!
This time though, my humom thought it was pretty funny…no no, she’s feeling fine don’t worry. She thought it was funny this time because she was so focused on me that little did she know…she also caught Nymeria in the act!
She didn’t realize she caught Nymeria on camera until she went back much later to look through her photos! BOL!
Hope you guys make it through Monday! Did you get into any mischief??
Pee S. In case you were wondering what we were rolling in…it was sea otter poop!! It’s like the jackpot of poops cuz it’s super fishy and stinky and leaves this PAWSOME dark green color on your body and clothes! It also tastes super yummy too! :p
Hi Friends! It’s finally Friday! How was everyone’s week?
We’re so happy that it’s FRI-YAY! That means our weekend adventures are about to start! We haven’t had the opportunity to show you all the Christmas loot we got this year (WE GOT A LOT!) but definitely our FAVORITE gifts was…
…NEW CHUCK-IT BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wilhelmina’s Humom bought them for me! She knows how much I love to play fetch. And because I’m such a nice sister, I shared them with Nymeria too. (I should get some extra treats for that!)
My humom was very thankful for Wilhelmina’s humom for buying me these balls because I like to chew on them. Tennis balls aren’t very safe for pups like me because we can ingest those tiny yellow fibers and it’s not good for our tummies!
Nymeria is a very quick study. She’s already learned that she has to sit before our humom throws the ball. (In my case she makes me lie down because sometimes I get impatient and I jump up to grab it. That is a BIG no-no…humom gets super angry when we do that). Nymeria is also figuring out that she has to bring the ball back before the next one gets thrown. She’s not always consistent but for 2 months being here, I’d say she’s doing really well!
Here’s a video!
Do you remember in my last post I mentioned that Nymeria was really fast? In fact, sometimes TOO fast for me? Well, when it comes to chasing balls, she’s got nothing on me! Sometimes I’ll give her a chance and let her have the ball 😉
Just when we thought the fun was over, our Humom took us to the forest!!!!! We thought we were going home but nope, our humom thought we could run around in the forest a bit! I was soooooooooooo so so so EXCITED!!!!!
We haven’t been able to go to the forest as often as we used to because my humom is still working on Nymeria’s recall. Since she is still a little nervous with strangers, we tend to go to off leash areas during non-peak times. Today was one of those times so Nymeria got to explore off leash on the less busier trails! She was SO HAPPY! She was really good too, she stuck close to me and Humom and when she saw other strangers walking by she would just hide behind a tree and watch them go by and then come back out.
Certain areas my humom will put her on leash because she doesn’t want Nymeria to get startled and run off deep into the forest where we can’t find her. It’s hard to find a time when the forest isn’t busy because it’s a very popular place, I mean, who wouldn’t want to take a stroll in a beautiful forest surrounded by trees, birds and water?? So any time we do go into the forest, it’s a real treat!
We had so much fun exploring together! We got super wet and muddy! It was great!
Unfortunately…the muddier the adventure, the higher change of a….BATH!!!!
Telling by how dirty our collars were…chances were slim of getting out of a bath…
In the end, it was all worth it! Boy are we pooped!!! Time to rest up for our next adventure tomorrow!!!
Good night friends! Hope you have a great weekend!
We’re off to a lazy start this year…It’s already been over a week into the new year and this is our first post! BOL! So far the year has been off to a good start. Some good sister bonding and a little bit of mischief 😉
